Better Miles is a top quality truck transmission rebuilding facility centrally located in Nassau County.  We are qualified re-builders of all Allison transmissions which are dynamometer tested on premises to ensure quality.  We can supply transmissions installed in our newly constructed facility or over the counter and we have the electronic testing equipment to diagnosis transmission problems efficiently.

Over the years Better Miles has developed the capability to service just about any transmission on the road today.  Our reputation is well known throughout the industry for our quality, service and competitive pricing. Our customer base includes municipal contracts, school districts, private bus and truck companies, as well as supplying truck repair facilities on a wholesale basis.

We also participate in the ARI and PH&H fleet service programs.
